ESR Charitable
Who Are We?
ESR Charitable is a 501(c)(3) foundation established to support the impactful projects of the Escondido Sunrise Rotary. Donors who wish to contribute to the Rotary’s community efforts can now do so through this charitable foundation—while also enjoying the tax benefits of giving to a recognized nonprofit organization.
Our History
Established in 2024, ESR Charitable was created to support the Escondido Sunrise Rotary and its signature annual fundraiser - the Grape Day 5K. Since its start in 2010, the Grape Day 5K has raised funds for the MS Society and contributed to countless local and global projects, including support for Escondido and North County community programs, local charities, and student initiatives.
Entirely volunteer-driven, the Grape Day 5K directs all proceeds toward making a lasting, positive impact in our community and beyond.

Mission
At ESR Charitable, our mission is to empower the charitable efforts of the Escondido Sunrise Rotary by supporting community-driven projects and events like the Grape Day 5K. Through volunteer spirit and collective generosity, we aim to strengthen our local and global communities—supporting those in need, uplifting students, and inspiring positive change that reaches far beyond Escondido.

Donations can be made by contacting any member of the Escondido Sunrise Rotary. Checks should be made out to "ESR Charitable".
