Rorie Johnston also shared the efforts undertaken to insure the community is aware the the Escondido Sunrise Grape Day 5K event will take place, inspire of the cancelation of the Grape Day Festival by the Escondido History Center…Rorie worked closely with local newspapers, and gained some additional publicity for our event…

Program:
Our program was a presentation and discussion with members of the Bonsall Rotary Club seeking a partnership with Escondido Sunrise for their “Wine, Brews and Blues Festival that they present each year in June. The event is becoming to big for the small club; we have been charity participants in the past, and they would like us to share 50/50 in the proceeds.
Past President, Roland Grabel and his wife Kelly presented their request and spoke about the event and the organization required…

The Bonsall Club is aware of our fall Grape Day event, and conscious of not overreaching with our donors…
President Dave will coordinate with the Sunrise Board and our members for feedback on joining in this project.
