As we all try to conduct our professional pursuits in new ways, it’s appropriate to remind ourselves of who we are as a Serving Organization… Our accomplishments, our fellowship and the reminder of our many successes is valuable as we seek new opportunities to serve…

 

President Richard opened the meeting in our new location, and in a hybrid format… Most of us in person, a few online… 

As a Club, we honored our nation with a salute to our Flag 

 

And, an invocation was offered as our meeting began…

Some projects that will help some children in the community… ‘Bikes for Kids’ is coming up as is the ‘Target Shopping Adventure’…

A reminder, if you are planning to serve on the Holiday Projects with youth present, you need to go online with District 5340 and complete your Youth Protection Certification…

Grape Day 5K Recognition by San Diego County Supervisor, Terra Lawson-Remer…

Past President, Jim Ponder shared a certificate presented to Escondido Sunrise on the occasion of our Grape Day 5K… The certificate, presented by District 3 Supervisor, Terra Lawson-Remer was shared with Club Members… Of note is that Supervisor Lawson-Remer, also provided a $15,000 community grant to Escondido Sunrise as part of our community-focused fundraising efforts related to the 5K event…

Jeff Glenn, Chief Operating Officer for Neighborhood Health Care presents information about the important health care services provided by Neighborhood Healthcare…

Jeff spoke about the service impact of Neighborhood Health… Last year, a total of 76,360 individual patients were served at Neighborhood for a grand total of 371,916 outpatient visits…

 

 

Jeff shared some history of Neighborhood Healthcare from its first clinic opening in 1969 through varied expansions of care and growth throughout the San Diego and Riverside County region…

 

He also spoke about Neighborhood’s mission and the locations that are currently served for healthcare needs…

 

Commenting further, Jeff spoke about the varied services offered by Neighborhood Health, and their efforts to establish partners throughout the regions they serve…

 

In respect the the current pandemic and the healthcare needs of the communities served, Jeff shared that over 80,000 doses of Covid vaccine were administered…

 

Jeff also spoke about how charitable gifts to Neighborhood Health are used to benefit the clients they serve…
