Alternatives Medical Clinic has been serving women’s health issues relating to pregnancy and reproductive health for thirty years. They are the only clinic in the San Diego County, among 150 that are licensed for both medical care and infectious disease care… Having gained these licensing achievements, they are recognized as the only such clinic in the country to hold both a medical accreditation and infections disease accreditation…

In addition to pregnancy testing and advising expectant mothers, the center also deals with young men relative to their roles in pregnancy. Support groups are also conducted for those traumatized by abortion procedures… Their role is to provide advice and guidance as well as testing. Testing includes on site opportunities at their facility at Juniper and Second Avenue, but also in the mobile clinic that they place at Palomar College and CSUSM…

Their programs also included support equipment for new families, including slightly used items like car seats, blankets, cribs and clothing all for babies…

Donations to support their programs can be made at amc-ca.com
