Grape Day 5K… An update; 

Money and Runners about the same from the teams.  We are just over $100,000 with more to come.  

Packet pick up is tonight at GMC in the auto park.  Sandy feet handling signups and distribution.  All available members should attend the event this Saturday at 6:30AM.

            20:    District Peace Leadership Symposium

 

High Fives:

President Dave shared that San Pasqual Academy sent a letter to The Club, thanking us for our $500 donation for the event “Shop ‘til you drop”. 

 

Program:

Marc Reyburn with Escondido High School- Future Farmers of America.  He was joined by six student leaders out of the 375 student members.  They each described parts of the 8 educational career paths available in the program.  Most education is hands on training.   The members participate at the Del Mar Fair and receive scholarships and successfully win many competitions.  They have several fund-raising event and opportunities to help.

October 27th- 10AM-4PM Pumpkin Feast/Car Show at the high school.  This is a free event!  They are looking for crafters and vendors. 

Pay attention Past President Tony, “There Will be Food”.

 

 

 

November 3rd; 6-9PM- Steak Fry Dinner-along with a Silent and Live Auction.  The event will be held at the AG Department at the school.  Buy your tickets now.

Farm Days- Produce for sale on every Thursday from 3-5 PM… Go by and check it out!

The club donated $500 to the FFA!
