Program:

With the passing of Past President John Masson on Tuesday March 10… The program for this meeting honored John’s service to Rotary.

In 2000-01, John served as the 21st President of Escondido Sunrise Rotary, and in the opinion of many fellow ESR members, Escondido Sunrise became more active and markedly increased its position in Escondido and our District as a Club known for making things happen…

Past Presidents Jim Ponder and Mark Hoekstra led a time for sharing of John’s impact on our club, our community and for many, his impact on our lives…

Note that some of the presenters were wearing the remarkable western hat that Past President John Masson was often seen wearing… A notable landmark for John, and many of our members…

Past President Jim Ponder sharing about John Masson...

John was involved in many ESR projects, and when the sun shone and the weather was warm, he always seemed to find that remarkable pair of green ‘short-shorts’…

John found ways to serve and as his son Nick grew up, he was along side his dad serving with him… John was a fine example for many in leading us to serve…
